Whether you would like to create a business or start a charity, we all have goals we want to achieve. Unfortunately, there isn’t an exact formula for goal achieving. At first, in order to do anything in life, you need to believe in yourself. American entrepreneur, Walter Disney was rejected by investors 302 times for his theme park idea and it didn’t stop him. Disney always believed in himself and his ideas. If he gave up because he thought no one wanted to invest, Disneyland wouldn’t exist. Fortunately, he kept looking for investors who believed in him like he believed in himself and, then went on to create Disneyland. Like Disney, When I started believing in myself, I started getting things done. I realized the power I had when I started to believe in myself. In the end, the goals that I want to accomplish are no longer unreachable for me because I simply believe in myself.
We all want to dream big and for some reason, most people tend to stay in the comfort zone and think about small dreams. Former all-star in both baseball and football, Bo Jackson said: “Set your goals high and, don’t stop till you get there.” For the simple reason on Jackson’s ability to dream big, he’s the first and, the only person named an all-star in both baseball and football. With this said, don’t ever give in to fear and allow yourself to only dream small. Let this dream help you get to everything that you want in life. The first step is to set your goals that once you achieve, it will allow you to see that big dream of yours.
Commitment focuses on what’s important and is essential in order to achieve our goals. Without commitment, we wouldn’t focus on the importance of achieving our goals. For this reason, you must believe, dream big, and commit when it comes to achieving your goals. If you commit to your goals, you are simply promising on focusing and taking action to achieve your goals. Commitment isn’t easy, you have to really want it. You have to really look at this goal and determine if it’s something even worth committing to. This will be easy if it’s something you truly want to do.
In addition, after committing to our goal, we must find a way to achieve it. To start we must break our goal down to figure out what actions we have to take. For example, Take some time and really focus on the success of your goal. Think about how you’re going to get there. Write it down and work on each thing on your list till you are done. This allows you to get things done in a faster and effective way. It really helps keep the momentum on your goal, motivating you to keep going. Breaking down your ultimate goal just makes it easier to accomplish.
Lastly, You can’t expect to achieve anything with a negative mindset. Negativity attracts bad things in your life and if you want to achieve goals any time soon I suggest you change your attitude. When you develop a positive attitude, you become more optimistic in achieving your goals. This optimism pushes you to work harder and put in your best effort. Positive thinking also pairs up with believing in yourself and dreaming big, without positive thinking you won’t be able to do much but complain about the goals you cant achieve. When i started changing my attitude and, allowed myself the experience of thinking positive, my life completely changed. I was able to do so much more than just accomplish my goals but i was also able to have a different outlook on life in general. A happier outlook.
